FREE ACCESS ON FRIDAY & SUNDAY!
The Providence Children's Museum is Rhode Island's only museum especially for children and their families. Providence Children's Museum is a hands-on place where kids and grown-ups play and learn together. Their exhibits include a place to play with water and currents, a really fun example of marionnetes created by the fabulous Dan Butterworth, a large lady chair to sit on, and a walk-through time machine where you can find out all about the people of Rhode Island and how they got here.
During August, Every Friday from 5-8 pm is FREE ADMISSION! (courtesy of the MetLife Foundation) Also, The First Sunday of the Month (this month it's Sunday August 4) is Free Admission for EVERYONE, courtesy of CVS Pharmacy.
If you haven't been, you should check it out! It's a very fun museum! (And they carry my book Rhode Island A to Z in the gift shop!)
