"Tell City Hall-- Hey wait a minute-- we ARE City Hall!"

In a kind of weird and daring idea, the city of Providence is asking the citizens of Providence to march on the State House. It's today at 5:30 on the South lawn of the State House.

Providence faces a 58 million dollar deficit. The Mayor cut 14% of all non-union management jobs in the city-- he's asking for concessions from unions and universities, and additional money from the State legislature.

It's pretty interesting when the establishment is turning to grass-roots tactics.
